Horizonte Azul
We educate through experience and innovation.
Our programs blend science, technology and sustainability to inspire new generations to understand environmental challenges and act on them creatively and responsibly.
Our purpose
Bringing rural schools hands-on, fun educational experiences that teach students about fog harvesting, the value of water and sustainability, sparking their interest in science and planet care.
And so we will
- Spark scientific curiosity in students
- Teach the value of water and its care
- Learn science and technology hands-on
- Grow environmental leaders in rural communities
What are our workshops like?
We run hands-on, participatory, creative workshops where students learn by doing, build prototypes and reflect on sustainability.
Seed Workshop
Introductory
One 3-hour hands-on workshop: introduction to water science and fog catchers. Includes printed and digital educational material. Goal: plant curiosity and spark initial impact.
Explorer Plan
Intermediate
Two workshops: theory + basic building. Includes a didactic kit for small prototypes and basic guidance so students achieve results. Goal: move from theory to practice.
Innovator Plan
Intensive program
Three full workshops: science, prototyping and optimization. Students build a working fog catcher for their school, with technical support from Nebulon Engineering. Goal: leave an installed, working solution.
Benefits for the institution
